Are we on the same Banana?: Hello, Singapore!

We booked a four-day vacay to Singapore (Thanks to Tiger Airways for the seat sale) and exactly a week before the said trip, I fortunately got myself a new HR job again. I was planning to back-out but then, I had the courage to ask my then "new" Boss if I could just go and report after instead. And yes, she said Yes.

The excitement had gotten worse. A few days prior to our flight, I would blatantly stare at my super gulo closet, trying to visualize an outfit for Day 1, 2....3.... and 4. But heck, to no avail.

I was only able to pack up the night before (because we were scheduled to fly at 5-ish in the morning). I had to research a bit about the weather, and upon learning that the weather they have there is similar to what we experience in Manila, I had no choice but bring comfy pieces from my closet.

To make the long story short (and I'm sure you wouldn't wanna hear stuff about our dear airport, you've had enough already anyway)..... Touchdown Singapore at 9:30 AM.

If you're taking the MRT to Orchard road, Ion Mall is the first mall you'll see. And we just had to walk around.

First store ever visited: Sephora!

I survived Singapore because of SINGTEL. Yes, they have prepaid sim cards that allow you to enroll your Blackberry phone to unlimited internet use (Twitter, Facebook, Browser, YM, etc.) for three days for only $15. THANK HEAVENS!
